Izzaida Zamani graduated from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) with a bachelor’s degree in legal studies (BLS Hons), followed by a professional qualification of a bachelor’s degree in law (LLB) honors degree from UiTM.
Izzaida completed her pupillage under the guidance of Encik Haniff Khatri at Messrs. Haniff Khatri. Izzaida was admitted to the High Court of Malaya as an advocate and solicitor on 1st June 2011 and joined Messrs. Haniff Khatri in her first year of practicing, during which she was exposed to various complex matters, including commercial and contract disputes, judicial reviews, debt recovery, contested banking disputes, fraud cases, forgery, disputes over land and properties, employment law, personal injuries and defamation suits. She was also exposed and involved in assisting the Counsel for criminal matters.
Throughout her practising years, she had also joined other firms namely Messrs. Hisham Yoong-K.C. Lim in 2013 and Messrs. Azwan & Nadzim in 2015 where she spearheads the civil litigation department. She was also actively assisting various other firms as an external solicitor, including some intricate legal disputes involving the mining industry, some of which have been reported. During the course of her career she had had the opportunity to work with various international corporate entities including Monument Mining Ltd.
February 2018 marked the biggest leap in Izzaida’s practice as she decided to embark on a new journey by becoming a partner at Messrs. CK Ling Izzaida & Irna. Owing to wide range of exposures at her tender years of practice andthe eye-opening valuable experiences that she has gained prompted her to set up her own practice.
Irna Shahana Samsudin obtained her LL.B (Hons) Degree from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UITM) in 2011 and commenced her pupillage under the guidance of her pupil-master, Dato’ Sri Jasbeer Singh Kaura of Messrs. Jasbeer Nur & Lee whom is an eminent civil and criminal litigator.
Irna was admitted as an advocate and solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in September 2012 and started her practice at Messrs. Richard Talalla & Harun as a Legal Assistant. She gained knowledge, experience and guidance through the chambers of Richard Talalla whom was the former Justice of High Court of Malaya. She then joined Messrs. Jeff Leong Poon & Wong as an Associate and was heading the banking litigation team. She was entrusted the responsibility to lead the banking litigation team and in the year 2015, she had the opportunity to join Messrs. Surend Mokhzani & Partners where she was actively involved in general litigation.
Throughout her pupillage and practising period, Irna had the privilege to be involved in a wide range of commercial and civil litigation practice. She had advised and acted in a variety of litigation matters encompassing disputes over land and/or property matters, tenancy issues, defamation suits, medical negligence, freight forwarding and logistics disputes, aviation and shipping matters, labour and employment disputes and industrial relation matters.
In February 2018, Irna embarked on a new journey by becoming a partner to Messrs. CK Ling Izzaida & Irna.
Chui Kwai Ling obtained her Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree with honours from University of Reading, England, in 2010 and obtained her Certificate of Legal Practice (CLP) in 2012.
Ling commenced her pupillage with Messrs J Fong & Associates, Advocates & Solicitors, Kuala Lumpur in November 2012 whereby she was exposed to conveyancing and general litigation matters for the firm, including real property transactions, divorce petitions, wills, probate and estate administration. She was also delegated with duties in relation to drafting of corporate agreements.
Ling was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in November 2013 and she was retained at Messrs J Fong & Associates, Advocates & Solicitors, Kuala Lumpur. She then left and joined Messrs Hisham Yoong-KC Lim, Advocates & Solicitors, Subang Jaya in October 2015 where she has decided to contribute her expertise in conveyancing practice to the profession. She was serving as a legal associate at Messrs. Hisham Yoong-KC Lim whereby she was entrusted with the duty to supervise, coordinate and oversee the entire conveyancing process that involved sales in both primary and secondary market.
She then sets up her law firm namely The Law Office of CK Ling & Partners which was subsequently joined by Izzaida and Irna to form Messrs CK Ling Izzaida & Irna and is now spearheading the conveyancing department.
Graduated from Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM) with LL.B (Hons), Aqilah subsequently obtained her Syariah Law Degree (Hons) from the same University. She then completed her pupillage under the guidance of her pupil-master, Irna Shahana Samsudin of Messrs. CK Ling Izzaida & Irna. She was admitted to the Malaysian Bar as Advocates and Solicitors of the High Court of Malaya in November 2022. She is currently retained by the firm as Associate.
During her pupillage and in her early years of practice, Aqilah has handled a wide range of civil litigation matters including but not limited to disputes relating to land, employment and industrial relation matters, contract and commercial, defamation suits, contentious probate and medical negligence.
